Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX®

The products that we supply adhere to the criteria set out in accordance with the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. Independent testing is carried out on raw, semi-finished and finished textile products at all processing levels. The testing and certification system is the same worldwide to ensure consistency. We are continuously adding new product ranges to our OEKO-TEX® certificate. The list includes: woven polyester labels made from white and dyed yarns. Printed labels and tapes made from polyester, polyamide taffeta {in white) and woven cotton. Knitted embroidery patches. Artificial leather patches {in black and brown/tan). Silicone pullers and badges {in a limited range of 3 colours). Accessories made of zinc alloy, brass or raw aluminium. Heat transfer pigment ink prints on PET film and heat transfer foil prints in gold & silver on PET film. Heat stamped and/or laser engraved labels made of Polyester and polyamide microfibre and cellulosic nonwoven fabrics. Based on pre-certified materials according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. If you have any specific requirements please feel free to get in touch and make it clear that you require OEKO-TEX® certified products in your initial developments.

Forest Stewardship Council®

We are certified to the FSC® chain-of-custody standard FSC-STD-40-004 V3-1 for items such as hang tags, boxes and mailer envelopes.

FSC® chain of custody certification verifies that FSC®-certified material has been identified and separated from non-certified and non-controlled material as it makes its way along the supply chain, from the forest to the market.

Look out for our FSC®-certified products in our new sustainable ranges.  If you require FSC® certified board for your Swing Tickets, Packaging or any other card or paper products then please specify this in your initial developments.

Global Recycled Standard

Weavabel is certified to produce and sell GRS Products in accordance with the Global Recycled Standard.  Certified products include our 100% recycled polyester labels, recycled LDPE Poly bags as well as recycled plastic hangers, seals and bags.

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary, full product standard that sets requirements for third-party certification of Recycled Content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions.

The goal of the GRS is to increase use of Recycled materials in products and reduce/eliminate harm caused by material production processes.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)®

Our organic cotton is GOTS certified. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. The aim of the standard is to define world-wide recognized requirements that ensure organic status of textiles, from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labelling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer.
