Behind the latest range

Through the development of this range, we sought to improve the production process of our garment trims. As well as looking into the raw materials, factory processes and manufacturing methods used, we also considered where the final product actually ends up. By driving the manufacture of our products closer to home, we have reduced the air miles and contributed to a greener future.

FSC Corn Paper Swing Ticket

Corn paper is made using process residues from organic products such as corn and maize. The top benefits are:

  • It is a byproduct of corn and maize processing and therefore doesn’t use extra raw materials.
  • It is recyclable and compostable, making it easy for the consumer to dispose of.

FSC Oyster Paper Swing Ticket

Oyster paper is made from the discarded residue of the leather manufacturing process. The top benefits are:

  • It is a spin off from the leather manufacturing process and therefore doesn’t use up additional raw materials.
  • It is biodegradable, meaning it can be disposed of in an environmentally-friendly way.

Bamboo Tape

Bamboo tape is made from bamboo canes and is both a sustainable and renewable alternative material. The top benefits are:

  • Bamboo is ready for harvest after 2-3 years.
  • It doesn’t require replanting after harvesting – when bamboo canes are cut, the stem is left in the soil and this sprouts a new shoot.

Recycled Lycra Tape

This tape is produced from recycled Lycra garments. The top benefits are:

  • This screen-printed tape is GRS certified.
  • It has a particularly smooth finish in comparison with some of our other taping options.

Photographically Woven Label

Recycled Polyester is a well-known sustainable material, produced using post-consumer recycled yarns, using PET as the raw material.  We’ve used this along with high-quality photographic weaving to show that you can still be creative while contributing to a greener future. The top benefits are:

  • This is the same material that is used in clear plastic water bottles -recycling it to create the fabric prevents it from going to landfill.
  • This weaving process brings through a lot of detail, just like an image, and can elevate your labels.

Satin Care Label

This care label is produced using post-consumer recycled polyester yarns, using PET as the raw material. The top benefits are:

  • Recycling polyester prevents it from going to landfill, reducing the need to consume extra raw materials.
  • It looks and feels no different to a traditional satin label – it has a soft sheen to the surface and is smooth to the touch.

Recycled Leather Badge

This badge is made from recycled leather, bonded together using pre-consumer and post-consumer leather waste. The main benefit of this is that by using waste from other leather manufacturing processes, this reduces the consumption of raw materials and preserves them for future generations.
