Frequently asked questions about sustainability

Can we add the certification logos, such as the FSC Symbol, onto our packaging?

Although there are specific requirements which have to be met, you can add the relevant FSC logo to your hang tags, boxes, mailer bags and more.

Does using a sustainably-based material make the product recyclable?

Not necessarily, as not all papers with a coating or lamination are widely recyclable. Speak to one of our experts as they will be able to advise on this more specifically.

Can we use any colours and still achieve a sustainable product (e.g. recycled clothing tags or labels)?

Yes, we use either water-based, oil-based or soy inks and can achieve and match most Pantones with these. There are some colour ranges which we cannot currently offer with sustainable products, including fluorescent and metallic colours. Speak to one of our experts to find out more.

Are there any size restrictions on sustainable clothing labels or other products?

No, we can achieve any size and shape with the sustainable trims.

What is the minimum order quantity on sustainable trims for garments?

1,000 pieces for items such as woven labels, badges and swing tickets.

What is the minimum order quantity on sustainable packaging items?
  • 500 pieces for items such as gift boxes, carrier bags and paper mailing bags.
  • Starting from 10,000 pieces for items such as recycled LDPE poly bags.
What is the lead-time on sustainable trims for garments?

2 – 3 weeks sampling, 3 – 4 weeks bulk
