For the past 40 years, Weavabel has been evolving with the needs of their customers to become a leading expert in labelling solutions and other garment branding options.
And by garment branding, we mean decorative trims, the finer details that transform a piece of clothing from standard to branded.
We’ve watched the value of branded garments increase in society’s estimation in recent years. With the Great Depression in the 1930’s and then World War II which followed, people cut back on their expenditure and just bought the essential clothing they needed. It took several decades for consumers to get their mojo back.
And that’s why we began in 1980. At first we were just supplying the UK manufacturing mills but then as technology and communication methods advanced, we began to branch out too.
And now we are supplying factories and brands globally in over 12 countries.
And next on the agenda, the family tree.
Working with the Weavabel family is really a no-brainer, especially if you’re wanting to work with a partner who can offer advice from experience, alongside quality products.
Our friendly team has a combined total of over 200 years of experience in labelling solutions. Meaning that we can put forward solutions to our clients that will work from a technical perspective and also introduce new ideas based on projects we’ve worked on over the years.
So first up is Alec. Having just passed his 25th Anniversary of working here, he is by far the most knowledgeable. Along with the other Account Managers (Rhys, Daniel, Helen, Zahra, David and Jesse), Alec works with clients to develop new trims for upcoming seasons and manage existing brand requirements too.
And while they work on future projects with brands, Fred and his team work with the teams behind the scenes, the vendors. Ensuring a client’s factory has the trims they need for every garment production is their daily ritual. Some of them work in China, and some of them here in the UK, offering a 24 hour response to factories wherever they are based.
In between these two teams, there’s a lot more people. There’s Rochelle who covers all things invoicing, Dawn who oversees all new trim developments and sampling, James who dispatches all UK stock and then there’s Garry and his creative team who bring together all of the design elements.
Along with those mentioned by name, the rest of the unified team pull together to provide competence and reassurance to drive the business forward.
In spite of the difficult economic crisis we find ourselves in we have experienced an increase in the morale of team members, as they appreciate working for an advancing and caring company who recognise and value their many strengths.
We look forward to assisting you in the near future in driving your brand successfully forward to the next level.
